You will be working at a 700-bed hospital, which is one of the most sustainable and technically advanced regional hospitals in Australia. A wide range of general medical, surgical and speciality services are provided, including oncology, cardiology, renal, emergency, women’s and children’s, critical care, specialist clinics and mental health services.
This busy regional hospital sees 44,000 presentations per annum, more than 50,000 attendees through the new state of the art ED and 13,000 operations are performed.
1,400 new babies are welcomed each year by the Women’s and Children’s Service, which includes a Women’s Health Clinic, Antenatal/Postnatal area, High and low risk Birth Suites and a 10 bed Level 2 Special Care Baby Unit.
You will provide care and supervision to patients in the maternity and gynaecology units.
Work in small consultant led teams that offer teaching and support.
Opportunities to enhance your operative and procedural gynaecology skills, including colposcopy and emergency gynaecology surgery and high risk obstetrics.
Supervise junior HMO and nursing staff as required and appropriate.
This role is accredited for a DRANZCOG. Gain preparation for entry to a RANZCOG accredited position.
One full time Registrar position available for 12 months, commencing February 2021. Part time will be considered.

Remuneration in line with the Victorian Public Health Sector (AMA Victoria) – Doctors in Training Enterprise Agreement 2018-2021
