The Organisation

This Health Service encompasses 29 facilities and treats more than 85,000 admissions annually. They see on average 158,000 people through the Emergency Department and support the birth of nearly 3,000 babies per year.

The Integrated Mental Health Service provides specialist services including extended inpatient and community services and a range of specialised clinical programs. The service is supported by a team of health professionals including nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and social workers. Other services include an Adult Community, Older Persons, and Child and Youth Mental Health Services.

Requirements

• Registration with or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Psychiatry
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatry or equivalent qualification
