Rural Generalists secure your GP/ED shifts in the beach town of Busselton, WA

• Rates: $1800-2000 daily rate
   

The Organisation

Busselton Hospital is a 84-bed facility with 15 emergency department spaces. Services include an emergency department, ward and day surgery facilities, modern operating theatres and birthing suites, dental services, renal dialysis services, a community mental health centre, community aged care, ongoing care and rehabilitation following discharge from hospital, child development and health services and immunisations.

The Job

• Job title: GP/SMP ED

• Dates: ASAP - July 30, 2022

• Hours: 10 hour shifts – morning, afternoon and evening shifts available.

Rewards

• Rate: $1800-2000 daily rate

• Provisions:
  Airfares - return economy domestic airfares for each contract period,  to a maximum of $1,000.

• Hire Car - maximum $30 per day reimbursement on production of receipt and tax invoice.

• Mileage - kilometric reimbursement for locums who choose to use their own vehicle to travel to the hospital

Location 

• Population: 41,041

• Things to do: Busselton is the perfect place for water lovers with its protected waters in the bay, great craft beers and wine tasting, or explore the largest remaining section of Pure Tuart Forest in the world.

• How to get there: The closest airport is Perth Airport. It’s a 2.5 hour drive from Perth. 

• 3.5 hour flight to Adelaide. Flights to Adelaide are available from all major airports in Australia (old info from a previous ad) 

Requirements  

• Current registration with AHPRA

• FRACGP or FACRRM

• Recent experience in Emergency Medicine. 

• Current WA Working with Children card

• Current Criminal Record Screen / Police Check dated within 12 months

• Covid Vaccination Certificate

• Medicare provider number: full billings required.

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or valid 457 temporary work visa.
