The Organisation

Kununurra District Hospital is a 32 bed facility that is primarily a GP/DMO operated service. The hospital is responsible for providing clinics and telephone support at Wyndham and Halls Creek Hospitals, Warman and Kalumburu communities.
 

The Job

• Job title: DMO GP / Anaesthetists

• Dates:

  • 19 Sept to 10 Oct

  • 26 Sept to 14 Oct

  • 03 Oct to 30 Oct

  • 12 Dec onwards

Rewards

• Rate: $2,700

• Provisions: Domestic travel to site, accommodation and vehicle provided. 

Location 

• Population: 5,308

• Things to do: Kununurra is a great base to explore the World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park and Bungle Bungle Range.

• How to get there:  Flights are available from all major Australian cities via Perth, Broome and Darwin. Kununurra is about a 10.5 hour drive from Broome or 6.5 hours from Katherine.

Requirements  

• Current registration with AHPRA 

• FACRRM, FRACGP or PGY 9+ doctors 

• Rural generalist with Anaesthetics experience and recent certification - JCCA, Cardiac Arrest

• Access to Medicare provider number

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or valid temporary work visa.
