The Organisation
This LHD provides a diverse range of public healthcare to over 300,000 residents across the district through 12 hospitals and multi-purpose services, 21 community health centres and other facilities.
You will be working at a local community, level 3 rural hospital, within the District, providing care to over 9,300 patients every year. The hospital has over 17,000 Emergency attendances annually.
The Job
The General Medical Ward is a 30 bed unit which includes 4 monitored beds in a close observational room and 2 Palliative Care beds.
The unit has the capacity to open additional beds during high demand periods.
Medical Services include Acute General Medical and Day Stay Medical.
The ward is staffed by qualified nursing staff and serviced by Allied Health professionals.
RMO Locum dates are Mon 17 Aug 2020 to Fri 29 Jan 2021 – 6 Months
RMO hours are Mon – Fri 0800-1630 (8hrs) – no wkd shifts
$60/hr plus travel and accommodation

General Registration with AHPRA
