This regional health service is seeking General Practitioners with Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and/or Anaesthetics experience to work across one of three rural hospitals throughout 2020.
You will work in the hospital as well as in a GP clinic and will be rostered to a 1:3 on call roster. There is also opportunity to provide outreach clinics to surrounding remote
These roles will enable a wide range of clinical practice in Indigenous health while working within a supportive team.
You will be supporting the largest country health service in Australia, covering 2.5 million square kilometres. The locum doctor workforce helps to provide accessible health services to the regional population in some extremely remote regions.
Across 70 hospitals this country health service handles almost as many emergency presentations as hospitals in the metropolitan area combined, and almost as many births as the State’s major maternity hospital.
You will be working in Western Australia’s sparsely settled northern region. It’s known for large swaths of wilderness defined by rugged ranges, dramatic gorges, semi-arid savanna and a largely isolated coastline.You will find it to be one of the most unique professional experiences you can have. You will hold FACRRM or FRACGP and Specialist registration with AHPRA.
