Balaklava District Hospital provides acute services ranging from in-hospital care for adults and children to outpatients and aged care beds.

The Job

• Job title: GP ED / Inpatient

• Hours: 24 hour cover (SAVES available 19.00-07.00)

July 2022

• Wednesday 6th – Thursday 7th                    (2 shifts)

• Saturday 9th                                                    (1 shift)

August 2022

• Wednesday 3rd – Thursday 4th                    (2 shifts)

• Wednesday 10th – Thursday 11th                (2 shifts)

• Wednesday 17th – Thursday 18th                (2 shifts)

• Saturday 20th – Sunday 21st                        (2 shifts)

• Wednesday 24th – Thursday 25th                (2 shifts)

• Wednesday 31st                                          (1 shift)

September 2022

• Thursday 1st                                                (1 shift)

• Saturday 3rd – Sunday 4th                            (2 shifts)

• Wednesday 7th – Thursday 8th                    (2 shifts)

Rewards

Rates: 

SMO/Consultant $2,000/shift

PGY6+ starting from $1,800/shift

**All rates are inclusive of superannuation for sole traders**

Provisions: 

Accommodation provided & travel reimbursement paid at $1.00 per kilometre (capped at $450.00). For interstate locums: return economy flights and hire car provided. Flights must be pre-approved prior to booking.

Payment via: ABN invoice.

• How to get there: 1 hour drive north of Adelaide. Flights to Adelaide are available from all major airports in Australia.

Requirements  

• Current registration with AHPRA 

• FRACGP or FACCRM desirable

• PGY6+ doctors with relevant experience will be considered 

• Emergency Medicine experience and recent certification (ALS2 or REST) 

• Access to Medicare provider number

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or valid 457 temporary work visa.
