The Organisation
This Hospital is a state-of-the-art hospital in a sunny coastal location only an hour and 20 minutes flight from Brisbane. It is equipped with leading edge technology to provide the highest level of care to the communities it serves.
The Health Service is a contemporary organisation with over 2000 employees, providing extensive health services in a range of regional, community and rural settings, to a population of around 180,000 people.
The Emergency Department at this hospital is accredited for 12 months EM training with ACEM as an Urban District Hospital. It is also accredited for the Paediatric Logbook.
The Job
You will work as part of a team to deliver emergency medical services to this large regional town.
FACEM’s will work fixed shift times and deal with ED presentations, supporting junior members of staff.
Shifts are available ongoing and throughout 2021
Blocks of 2 weeks or more are preferred

Requirements
FACEM essential
You must have Specialist Registration in Emergency Medicine with AHPRA.
You must either be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, an Australian Permanent Resident or on a Temporary Work Visa that allows you to work in additional locations.
