The Organisation
Established in 2016, this service is Australia’s first nationally available telemedicine service exclusively staffed by Emergency Physicians. All consulting physicians are Fellows of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEMs).
The service partners with rural and metropolitan hospitals, ambulance services, residential aged care facilities, Primary Health Networks and private enterprises to provide access to specialist medical advice via video or telephone consultation. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Job
- Locum Emergency Medicine Consultant
- Role: You will provide emergency medical services and advice via telephone or video conferencing
- Dates: Immediate - Ongoing
- Hours: Various shifts between 2 - 6 hours

Requirements
- Current Specialist registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM)
- Work from home set up (including a private space, high speed internet etc.)
