General Adult Psychiatrist

This WA regional Health Service requires a Consultant Psychiatrist to primarily work on the 30-bed ward and in the community.
In addition, you will participate in the on call roster and provide supervision, training and education to Junior Medical Staff and Registrars.
This 135-bed hospital is the biggest hospital and health care complex in regional Western Australia. It delivers health care to more than 80,000 of the region’s local residents as well as visitors and acts as the regional referral centre for the district. The hospital provides good exposure to a young and diverse case-mix, reflective of a major teaching hospital, but in a regional/rural setting.

Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, or equivalent.
