The Organisation
The hospital is a 300-bed public hospital that treats over 24,000 inpatients and over 225,000 outpatients every year. The hospital aims to provide a sustainable, high quality and safe health system. The Job

Work as a Consultant ENT providing quality otolarynology surgical services
-
ENT Consultants will supervise the clinical work and oversee the quality of care provided by the junior medical staff in the Unit and do weekly ground rounds.

You will ensure accurate clinical records are maintained for each patient, collecting and coordination of data and statistics to be utilised in the EQUIP.

Consultant ENTs participate in an out-of-hours on-call roster with other consultants.

You will participate in clinical reviews and research activities.

You are expected to actively participate in and contribute to the organisation’s Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes and quality improvement activities.

Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) Otolarynology, or equivalent
