The team of 9 pathologists and registrars are based in regional tertiary referral hospitals supporting a broad range of specialist services in oncology, radiation and haematology services. On-site immunohistochemistry is located in 3 processing laboratories to enable rapid turnaround time of results, FNA cytopathology services are provided and the service supports Breast Screen NSW, reporting all the breast biopsies from the region.

The Job
- As Consultant Anatomical Pathologist you will provide high quality diagnostic, consultative, procedural and on-call specialty services in Anatomical Pathology, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities.
- You will join a team with extensive experience in all aspects of histopathology including lymph node (lymphomas), urological, breast, skin, lung, ENT, gastrointestinal and gynaecological pathology.
- The team provides services for community and hospital referrals working closely with clinical colleagues and meet regularly for MDTs.
- On offer is a permanent full-time position.
- Indicative Base salary AU$174659 - AU$235,970 per annum
