You will be the senior Intensivist for the Division of Surgical Services.
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest professional and ethical standards are observed by all ICU medical staff.
The position will be required to provide clinical work as well as provide supervision and support to Intensivists, Registrars and Junior Medical Officers working within the Department.
The Unit has 10 beds, 800 admissions, includes 20-25 paediatric cases
There are 6 Registrars and 2 RMOs.
You will receive exposure to a varied case-mix in a regional ICU; General Medical and Surgical intensive care, Trauma, Paediatric, Obstetrics and Interventional cardiology provided by Cardiology Team.

Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (CICM).
Echocardiography certification is desirable.
Competency in Paediatric Intensive Care is desirable.
Maintenance of CPD and good standing as required by AHPRA.
A class C driver’s license is required.
